Where in the world is Matt Lauer (AKA the Places)

We might have chosen Auckland, where I could have gotten a job seeing children. But I was concerned about trading one big city with another. Instead we chose Invercargill, a city of 53,000. About the same size as my hometown in Colorado.

We are about as far from the largest population center in NZ as possible.

On the map, this simply looks like we are at the other end a country that spans the equivalent distance of the eastern seaboard of the US(Imagine maintaining the infrastructure for this geographical area with the same population as Kentucky).

But where you live may only be a matter of perspective!

There are not a lot of people who live South of where we live: Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Islands.
